We are delighted to be welcoming Paolo Bianchini to showcase his wines at Murano which Angela and the team will be pairing with a hearty Tuscan feast. Angela and Neil met Paolo and his family last year at their vineyard in Montalcino where they bonded over their shared love of cycling as well as good wine and food so we are really excited to have this opportunity to host them.

Located in the south east of the Montalcino region close to the beautiful medieval village of Castelnuovo dell’Abate, the estate of Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona can trace its routes back to the 17th century. The Ciacci family owned the estate for over a hundred years until the death of Countess Elda Ciacci. As the Countess had no children she left the property to her long standing and well respected estate manager Giuseppe Bianchini. His hard work and dedication has been continued by his son and daughter, Paolo and Lucia, who have developed the property and wines to their current respected position. The wines receive global acclaim thanks to the commitment to the terroir of and traditional winemaking practices and rank amongst the greatest producers of Brunello di Montalcino.

 The menu will include traditional Tuscan favourites including wild boar pappardelle and spiced red mullet.

The evening will start at 7pm with a welcome drink and include 4 courses with matching wines, coffee, water and service for £130 per person

Angela Hartnett is taking to the slopes of Courchevel with the launch of Cucina Angelina, our brand new restaurant at Portetta!

The first of its kind in Courchevel Moriond, Cucina Angelina will serve Italian influenced mountain food – with a nod to the local Savoyard cuisine with the best Italian kitchen specialities. Plenty of locally sourced produce and a terrific range of meats and cuts that will be grilled on an open range within the restaurant!

The restaurant will build on the relaxed, casual style at Portetta – expect a bit of rustic mountain chic – lots of reclaimed and textured wood and stone for the floors and bar. Rich colours and cosy fabrics on oversized banquette sofas, with warm toned leather chairs and wooden tables! The perfect apres-ski retreat!

Due to the success of our Sunday lunches in 2018 for our 10 year celebrations we have decided to continue them in to the New Year.

Taking place the 3rd Sunday of each month we invite our guests to join us for these special feasts.

Each month we have a different 4 course sharing menu created by the team for £45 per person including a drink on arrival.

The next dates we have are Sunday 20th January, Sunday 17th February and Sunday 17th March.

We will kick these off with a very special evening with Mitch Tonks (The Seahorse) and Mark Hix (Hix) whose restaurants are also celebrating 10 years in 2018.
